Fearful Symmetry is the ceramics created by Ryan M. Hemphill in Edmonton, AB (amiskwacîwâskahikan, Treaty 6).
Ryan is a sound-artist, composer, audio/video technician, and folk musician, and began his pottery practice in 2020. Since then, ceramics has been his main artistic pursuit, and has been focused on developing his techniques to create new forms and textures.
He also teaches adult pottery classes at Studio72 ceramics studio, where is also an active member.
